What She Wants

There’s only 2 more weeks left for the pre-holiday shopping season and if you haven’t gotten anything for the woman of the house then you need to get on your job very quickly.  If there’s anything else I know besides fashion, it’s Women (trust me on this one, I know Women!).  When it comes to getting your lady a gift there are two important tips to remember:

1. Think about what you think she may want; not what you want her to have.  Sure she likes lingerie, but she can buy that for herself as a gift to you.

and

2. Quantity before Quality. Didn’t get this one?  Women love a diamond necklace and or earrings, but adore being showered with gifts.  Get her a bag full of the simple things she likes along with that big gift you know she wanted.

Summer Essential of the Week – Belts

Belts! You can wear them with Jeans, Chino’s Khakis, etc. Some of us need em, and some of us use them to complete the look. Whatever your reason for its usage, you can’t go wrong with the right colors and patterns. I personally like stripes and weaves with leather stitched in the ends. Try staying away from the oversized buckles, and graphic patterns (its a little too adolescent for me) and stick to more of a traditional look. When purchasing a belt I also recommend getting it one size up from your pant waist size. Keep in mind that whether it’s woven in leather, cotton, wool or canvas; a weaved or striped belt is a must-have to fit your casual needs.
